Losing your job means more
than losing an income. It usually means loss of identity, loss of face, and loss of social
contact. Responses can include lack of self-esteem, depression, lack of motivation (even to get up in
the morning), lethargy and irritability. Often the people closest to you become the target of your
anger.
Focus on things under your control

the things that are in your control, rather than remaining depressed about those things that are not,
